It's funny that the title to my blog hasn't changed since 2006. Here it is 2013 and what I thought would make me content back then has already passed by. Yet here I am still running after temporary fulfillment. Gosh it's frustrating, and such a struggle. Contentment is something that my earthly body will struggle with until the day that it becomes eternal. It's much more then finally achieving a certain goal, but more about learning the act of being satisfied with what you have and who you are in the present moment despite what goal you have achieved or not. This blogs purpose is to share these struggles with you and hopefully encourage you to not give up or give in to these temporary desires, but to show you that my Jesus can help ease the struggle.
Just a bit about me: I am lucky lucky lady to be the bride to my adorable husband, Eric. I'm the forever mom to my sweet girl, Mar and I'm the undeserving daughter to a King, Jesus Christ. Whoa, and why do I struggle with contentment? :)
My loves: Family, friends, the color turquoise, owls, boston terriers, people watching, traveling, pumpkin spice lattes, running, Brussel Sprouts, Peas, Blankets, Hoodies, and New notebooks.
My hates, er...dislikes: Being away from my husband, bees... actually anything that flies, spiders, super hot weather, plain chocolate, waiting for my husband to get home from work.
